Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Cento Imported Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 small White Onion, chopped
- 1 tsp Bellino Minced Garlic
- 1 can Cento Italian Style Whole Peeled Tomatoes (28 oz), hand crushed
- Cento Fine Sicilian Sea Salt, to taste
- Cento Ground Black Pepper, to taste
- Cento Basil, to taste
- 1 lb Anna Spaghetti, or your favorite Anna Pasta
- Grated Romano Cheese, to taste
Directions
Heat oil over medium heat in a medium saucepan. Sauté onion until translucent, then add garlic and sauté until gently browned. Pour in tomatoes and season with salt, pepper and basil to taste, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for approximately 20 minutes, or until desired consistency is achieved. If a thinner consistency is desired, gradually add small amounts of water. Prepare pasta according to package directions. Pour sauce over cooked pasta and toss until pasta is evenly coated and top with cheese. Serves 6.
