Ingredients
- 2 pkgs Bellino Potato Gnocchi (16 oz)
- 2 tbsp Bellino Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Bellino Minced Garlic
- 1 can Cento Organic Italian Whole Peeled Tomatoes (28 oz), drained and hand crushed
- 1 can Cento Tomato Paste (6 oz)
- 1 tsp Cento Basil
- Cento Fine Sicilian Sea Salt, to taste
- Cento Ground Black Pepper, to taste
- 5 oz Light Cream, at room temperature
- Grated Parmesan or Romano Cheese, to taste
Directions
Prepare gnocchi according to directions on package. In a large pan, sauté garlic in oil until soft, then add tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, salt and pepper. Simmer about 20 minutes. If sauce is too thick, add tomato juice from can. After simmering, add cream and stir continuously, then let simmer for an additional 10 minutes. Pour over cooked gnocchi, tossing until well coated. Serves 4-6.
