Ingredients
- 1 box Ferrara Jumbo Shells (12 oz)
- 1 lb lean Ground Beef
- 1/4 cup White Onion, minced
- 3/4 cup Cento Seasoned Bread Crumbs
- 1/4 cup Romano Cheese
- 1 Egg, slightly beaten
- Cento Fine Sicilian Sea Salt, to taste
- Cento Ground Black Pepper, to taste
- Chopped Fresh Parsley, to taste
- 3 cups Cento All Purpose Pasta Sauce
Directions
Preheat oven to 350˚F and cook shells according to package directions. Sauté ground beef in a medium sauce pan until browned, approximately 5-7 minutes, then add onion and cook for another minute. Remove from heat, drain liquid and set aside. In a large bowl, mix breadcrumbs, cheese, salt, pepper, egg and parsley. Add meat and onion, mix until thoroughly combined. Spread 1 cup of sauce on the bottom of a baking dish or pan. Stuff shells with meat filling, place in dish and cover with remaining sauce. Bake for 25 minutes, let cool 5 minutes before serving. Serves 6-8.
